A mom gets up before dawn to get her own kid to a daycare center before heading to work in a posh quartier to care for someone else's kid all day. She sings the same lullaby to both babies. Ugh.Caitlinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15720743288251245836noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-536109475892963000.post-84650803947361238862013-08-09T00:07:56.427-05:002013-08-09T00:07:56.427-05:00How's it going now? How's it going now? I can be with my kid and find myself both annoyed and enjoying it all at the same time. Makes life weird. Hope you find a good person to watch your kiddos and that you strike some form of balance that makes everyone happy!Korinthiahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15580286551375780490noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-536109475892963000.post-70179756175444523282013-07-13T14:14:09.801-05:002013-07-13T14:14:09.801-05:00Is there any way that you can find an in-between s...Is there any way that you can find an in-between solution? I.e., one where you aren't back to work full-time and spending more than what you're earning on a situation about which you seem to have a lot of (very understandable) ambivalence? But maybe one where you ARE employing someone to do the things that you're having a harder time fitting in, still necessary, but not requiring the thoughtfulness that parenting does?

(Also, what kind of carrier do you use? Could you put the younger kidlet on your back instead of wearing him in the front? That's what made it possible for both me and the husband to get more done around the house, without worrying every time that I was splashing the kid with oil or whatever.)S.
